NayNay ("NayNay," "we," "us," or "our") provides a platform connecting horse owners, barn managers and staff, and equine professionals — including veterinarians, trainers, farriers, and other specialists — to manage and share horse care records, communications, and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Service. By accessing or using NayNay, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. Account information such as your name, email address, phone number, password, and role (owner, barn staff or manager, veterinarian, trainer, farrier, or other professional). Horse and care records, including health and wellness history, vaccination and immunization records, pre-purchase exam (PPE) documentation, laboratory results and imaging, feeding and medication regimens, training and rehabilitation logs, competition and event records, pedigree and bloodline information, and any photos or videos you upload. Payment information, which is collected and stored by our third-party payment processor — NayNay does not store full payment card numbers on our own servers. Communications, including messages, appointment requests, and other content you send through the Service.
Information collected automatically. Device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and how you interact with the Service. If you enable location services, we may collect approximate location to support features such as barn or professional discovery.
Information from others. If another user — such as a barn or veterinarian — adds you, your horse, or care records to the Service, we may receive information about you from that user.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including horse profiles, records, and messaging; connect owners, barns, and professionals within the shared ecosystem for a horse; facilitate scheduling, booking, and payments between users; power natural-language logging, AI-assisted insights, and other intelligent features; communicate with you about the Service, including updates and support; monitor and improve the Service, including through analytics; detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity; and comply with our legal obligations.
3. How information is shared within the ecosystem
NayNay is built around shared access to a horse's record among the people connected to that horse. Owners control which barns and professionals are connected to their horse's profile and can manage those connections at any time. Barns and professionals connected to a horse can view and contribute to the records relevant to their role — for example, a veterinarian can view health records and document exams, while a trainer can view and log training records.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing, and customer support, under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NayNay, our users, or others. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Payments
Payments made or received through NayNay are processed by a third-party payment processor. That processor's own privacy policy and terms govern the handling of your payment information. NayNay retains records of transactions, such as amounts and dates, but does not store full payment card numbers.
5. Data security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit and at rest and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion or export of your data by contacting us at the email below. Certain records may be retained where required by law or where retention is necessary for legitimate business purposes, such as resolving disputes or maintaining transaction records.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at the email below. We will respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable law.
8. Children's privacy
NayNay is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. International users
NayNay is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
